Summer crops on their way!
Posted by Jeni
We've had a great start to our growing year already and most crops are looking fabulous. Hopefully the weather doesn't change that!
Since January we've been busy seeding and planting, and now we have what looks like our earliest crop of salads; our tomatoes and cucumbers are looking great and we've just started cutting our own lettuce, pak choi and radish.
We've also been drilling our autumn sweetcorn, bunched beetroot, carrots, parsnip and shelling peas, planting our summer cabbages and calabrese, plus adding 15 new eating apple varieties to our orchards.
