Apple Day - 7th October 2018

We can’t wait for our next annual Apple Day! It promises to be fantastic day out for all the family.
We have doubled the parking area this year and this beautiful sunny weather is set to hang around so the ground should remain dry!
We have a bouncy castle and face painting for the children as usual as well as a whole range of new fun activities to keep your little ones entertained all day. Why not try your hand at “Feed the Pig", construct your own wormery, gourd skittles, make your own mini scarecrow or just let them play in the mud kitchen while you relax on the picnic tables in the newly renovated Organic Kitchen Garden.
We grow a huge variety of English apples and our Orchards make a fascinating part of our Farm walks. The kids will love the Pumpkin Trail taking you around the animals on the Farm searching for our fancy dress pumpkins and finishing at the Pick Your Own Pumpkin site where you can choose your own!
Once you have worked up an appetite why not enjoy our delicious hog roast, made using our own rare breed British Lop Pork and sample the range of locally produced artisan ciders, gins and vodkas we stock in the Farm Market.
We have been very busy this year introducing 250 new products into our Award winning Farm Market not only new and exciting products for you foodies but also new ranges of locally produced beauty products and jewellery. The best of our newcomers and some of our old favourites will be on hand to explain their products to you and provide you with the ideal opportunity to try before you buy.
