The event starts at 10 am, with the Hog Roast available from midday after a long night on the spit (yes, another midnight rendez - vous with a couple of porkers for Giles...).
There will be plenty of of English apples and pears to taste before you buy, with some available to buy by the box for you to store over winter.
Wash your Hog Roast bap down (including homemade stuffing and Bramley apple sauce) with a pint of Cornish Orchards cider or a glass of apple juice while your children run riot on the bouncy castles. There will also be a pumpkin trail around the farm with prizes for those who find them all.
Our chefs will be rising to the occasion with a timetable of appley demonstrations, with recipes rich in seasonal ingredients. They have been busy dreaming up some fantastic apple recipes for the specials menu in the restaurant, as well as a selection of pies and pastries for sale in the farm market (TM).
